Another way to make make a mirror image in DAZ Studio
This is a really easy way to make a mirror image in DAZ Studio like the image above.
First, render an image using front or perspective camera, which includes some sort of Framed picture of standup mirror prop, like I have used here. The mirror was black where mirror was and I changed to gray and made transparent in Corel PhotoPaint 9
I made a 3 dimensional room with a fireplace on the other side projecting a yellow spotlight that gives the room depth. Then, selected left camera in D|S and rendered an image to use for the mirror image. Make sure the the light direction remains the same in both renders. It's best not to move anything, and just change camera direction and adjust the view so that all the image shows.
Next, start withthe second image and flip horizontially to similate mirror image. Paste the first image on top of it. The mirror will be transparent and only show the first image through the mirror. You can move the first layer around until you get the exact image you want to project through the mirror. Combine the images and it is complete.
Go to my favorite products page and see other pictures and the products at DAZ that I have used in them. A more detailed Turtorial is included in the Free Download. Please refer to that if you need more info about DAZ Studio. My goal here was to show you how easy it is to make nice wallpapers for yourself. I have also made beautiful backgrounds with Bryce 5.5, found here. Many of my wallpapers are made with this program and DAZ Studio.
